Find balance safely and gently.

Craniosacral therapy is a non-invasive, non-manipulative gentle touch* technique focused on the bones and sutures of the cranium, the cerebrospinal fluid, the sacrum, and the central nervous system (CNS). Having completed training as an Upledger Institute Practitioner, I discern the cerebrospinal fluid pulse SQAR (Symmetry, Quality, Amplitude, and Rate). SQAR is influenced by the tightness in the fascia that can inhibit the self-healing mechanism of the horse. The craniosacral motion, or rhythm, can be hard to feel with your hands, but much like a heartbeat, it can be felt and measured. This rhythm moves the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) through the brain and spinal cord.

When I am working with a horse, they direct me and we can facilitate releases for and with the horse. With horse craniosacral therapy, we see the effects taking place as they lick their lips and chew, and yawn, the eyes begin to relax and clear eyes and the horses' posture changes as I work to remove restrictions to the motion that is found within their system.

The therapy itself is very non-invasive, using a light touch that most horses really enjoy.

Not only will craniosacral therapy reduce a horse's stress level, but horse owners and trainers can also see benefits when adding craniosacral therapy to their horses' wellness regimen. Healthy and working horses are not the only ones that will benefit. Equine CST is also very beneficial to horses with performance issues, behavior problems, chronic pain, aging, and medical conditions, and many other equine issues.
